THE KERSEY MOBILITY STORY
Established in 1982 by Donald Kersey, Kersey Mobility has now been in business serving Seattle, Olympia, Tacoma, and Yakima for over 26 years. As a family-owned business located in downtown Sumner, WA, we have grown over the years to become the premier Mobility dealer in the Pacific Northwest. Our continued expansion has seen us serve Washington, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii and Alaska with an outstanding line of mobility products, new and used wheelchair vans for disabled individuals, scooter lifts, and wheelchair lifts for vans. Throughout our existence we have worked hard to provide the best possible customer service with top-notch repair/maintenance work and comprehensive new and pre-owned wheelchair accessible van inventories.
The owners of Kersey Mobility, Michael and Angela Kersey often have their children Ashley and Amber in attendance helping out during school breaks. Occasionally, you will still see Don around helping out. Many of the employees at Kersey Mobility have been with the company for more then 10 years. Customers often comment on how relaxed and comfortable the environment is in our large showroom/waiting area. The covered outdoor wheelchair van conversion displays make it easy to view our product line in any weather.
WHY CHANGE THE NAME?
Until 2004 the company was known as Mobility Systems, Inc. Michael and Angela made the decision at that time to add their last name to the company to help distinguish them from other dealers who were coming into the business and choosing names that were similar. We are now known as Kersey Mobility, providing “Mobility For Life”. The name change has made a great impact.
